I don't normally do these types of things on my blogs, but I need your help. I am marching with my team this October to help end the fight against Alzheimer's Disease. I work with the senior population and plan to work with the geriatric population when I complete my social work degree.
I, of course, started my big talking at work about how I was going to raise the most money on our team and I am in PANIC mode now! When will I learn to keep my mouth quiet???

When is your walk?
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking Elisa! It is October 3rd. We have a couple of our residents and their families walking with us who have lost their loved ones to Alzheimer's. It is very inspirational.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I just visited your donation page in honor or my neighbor, Ginny. She is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. It is easy to get upset with her as she has bad days when she calls non stop and has nothing nice to say but it's even harder to think about how hard it must be on her to be agitate or upset and not even sure why. Thank you for doing this!
