Look what I received from Debbie, my swap partner from Canada. The requirement was to send a cookbook from the 1950s. My partner sent me The Purity Cookbook (which at first made me think - what?). Turns out that Purity is a brand name flour in Canada. Funny!! She was also kind enough to send 4 pictures of pin up girls and 4 embroidery flosses for me. I had such a great time with this swap.
you know, I really wanted to join that swap but didn't know where to find things like that locally. This place has no used bookstores or anything. Maybe next time I'll join and just use eBay!
