Tonight, the husband and I made Lemon Curd. Besides the screaming we did from the lemon juice getting into cuts in our hands, we had a good time together. The lemon curd was great - a little sour - but the husband added extra lemon juice (he loves tart things). I puckered when tasting it, but I added vanilla ice cream and it was tasty. We poured the curd over angel food cake. What a great summer treat. I am hoping to try another recipe or two from this book
- possibly the apple butter or the apple and orange curd. Yum!
